Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct threat hunting and vulnerability assessments across enterprise networks
- Investigate security incidents and coordinate remediation efforts
- Develop and maintain security documentation and incident response playbooks
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry trends through continuous research
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in security operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in network security tools (Nessus, Wireshark, Metasploit)
- Strong understanding of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and endpoint protection platforms
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
