Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate security incidents using forensic tools and threat intelligence
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop incident response playbooks and disaster recovery plans
- Comply with regulatory frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR)
- Provide security awareness training to employees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on security operations experience
- CompTIA Security+/CISSP/CISSP certification preferred
- Proficiency in network security tools (Wireshark, Nmap)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Strong knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
