Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and triage incidents with urgency
- Conduct forensic investigations to identify attack vectors and mitigate breaches
- Develop and maintain security playbooks for incident response procedures
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement network segmentation and access controls
- Generate executive-level security reports and vulnerability assessments
- Stay current on emerging threats and recommend proactive countermeasures
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity analysis with SOC or incident response experience
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CISA certification required
- Expertise in SIEM tools and threat intelligence platforms (e.g., CrowdStrike)
- Proficient in network security protocols (TCP/IP, IDS/IPS, firewalls)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) for automation tasks
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and compliance frameworks (NIST, GDPR)
