Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts within the Security Operations Center (SOC) in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Investigate and remediate security incidents using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
- Enforce corporate security policies and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, PCI-DSS, NIST).
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement secure coding practices.
- Perform regular security audits and generate detailed reporting for stakeholders.
- Stay updated on the latest threat intelligence and security trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- 3-5+ years of proven experience in cybersecurity, network administration, or a related role.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, and network protocols.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
