Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems, networks, and applications for vulnerabilities and threats using provided SIEM tools
- Investigate security incidents, analyze logs, and create detailed incident reports
- Implement and maintain security controls including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments using company-provided hardware/software
- Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and procedures
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure continuous security monitoring and improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification preferred
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and security tools
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex security data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
