Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using Splunk and AlienVault SIEM platforms
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Develop and maintain security documentation including playbooks and incident response plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement NIST and ISO 27001 controls
- Analyze threat intelligence feeds to proactively identify emerging attack vectors
- Lead security awareness training for 500+ employees across 3 locations
- Generate executive-level security metrics reports for CISO review
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity with hands-on SIEM implementation experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required (CEH preferred)
- Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) and security tools (Wireshark, Metasploit)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and zero-trust architectures
- Strong analytical skills with ability to correlate complex security events
- Excellent communication skills for executive stakeholder reporting
