Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with NIST frameworks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop security documentation including playbooks and incident response plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security architecture improvements
- Stay current on threat intelligence and emerging attack vectors
- Implement security controls and maintain compliance with ISO 27001 and NIST CSF
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in SOC/IR environments
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF)
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux systems and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with threat hunting and forensic investigation methodologies
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure during incident response scenarios
