Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate security incidents, conduct forensic analysis, and coordinate response protocols
- Implement vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for enterprise systems
- Develop threat intelligence reports and mitigation strategies for emerging risks
- Collaborate with IT teams to enhance security posture across cloud/on-prem environments
- Document security procedures and maintain compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Provide 24/7 incident response support during rotational on-call shifts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in security operations centers
- Industry certifications (CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GIAC preferred)
- Proficiency in network security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and network architecture
- Experience with threat hunting methodologies and MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Ability to work under pressure during security incidents
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting
