Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems to detect and respond to cyber threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop and implement security incident response plans and playbooks
- Analyze malware and advanced persistent threats (APTs) using forensic tools
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS standards
- Generate executive-level security reports and threat intelligence briefings
- Lead security awareness training for cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in threat detection and incident response
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or CompTIA Security+
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR platforms
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and Windows/Linux operating systems
- Experience with penetration testing tools (Metasploit, Burp Suite)
- Ability to work under pressure during security incidents and maintain clear documentation
