Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms for threat detection and incident response
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop security policies and procedures for cloud/on-prem environments
- Lead forensic investigations during security breaches
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement zero-trust architectures
- Generate executive security reports and risk mitigation plans
- Stay current with emerging threats via threat intelligence feeds
Qualifications
- 3+ years in SOC operations or security engineering
- CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification required
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Experience with NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell)
- OSCP or equivalent hands-on testing skills preferred
