Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms and analyze security alerts for potential threats
- Conduct incident investigation, triage, and remediation across enterprise environments
- Develop and optimize security playbooks for threat detection and response
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement vulnerability management strategies
- Generate comprehensive security incident reports and executive summaries
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend proactive countermeasures
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical incident response
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- Strong proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR platforms
- Hands-on experience with threat intelligence feeds and malware analysis
- Relevant certifications (Security+, CISSP, or CEH preferred)
- Deep understanding of network protocols and attack vectors
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure incident response scenarios
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
