Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for threat detection
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with forensic analysis
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls
- Generate incident reports and executive security briefings
- Stay current with emerging threats and defense technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years experience in security operations center (SOC) environment
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and IDS/IPS systems
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and attack vectors
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
