Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems to detect and respond to cyber threats
- Conduct forensic investigations on security incidents and develop mitigation strategies
- Implement vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses
- Generate comprehensive security reports and recommend proactive security measures
- Collaborate with IT teams to enforce security policies and compliance standards
- Stay current with emerging threats and cybersecurity best practices
- Manage incident response plans and coordinate crisis communications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis role
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and security protocols
- Industry certifications (CISSP, Security+, CEH) preferred
- Strong knowledge of network architecture and cloud security principles
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
