Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) for security anomalies and investigate potential incidents
- Conduct threat hunting activities using MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat intelligence feeds
- Lead incident response procedures, including containment, eradication, and recovery
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop and maintain security documentation including playbooks and runbooks
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Provide regular security awareness training to employees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification preferred
- Proficiency with SIEM tools, firewalls, and endpoint security platforms
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and Windows/Linux systems
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
