At CyberShield Fort Worth, we protect critical infrastructure for Fortune 500 clients across North Texas. This role offers hybrid work arrangements with state-of-the-art security operations center facilities.
We're seeking a proactive analyst to monitor, detect, and respond to sophisticated cyber threats targeting financial services, healthcare, and energy sectors. You'll work with cutting-edge SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and collaborate with incident response teams to minimize breach impact.
Responsibilities
- Monitor 24/7 security alerts using SIEM platforms and correlate threat intelligence feeds
- Conduct digital forensics investigations and root cause analysis for security incidents
- Develop and maintain detection rules for emerging threat vectors (ransomware, APTs)
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Generate executive-level security reports and recommend mitigation strategies
- Coordinate incident response activities with cross-functional teams
- Stay current on NIST frameworks and regulatory compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience in SOC operations or threat detection
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR platforms
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Ability to work rotating shifts in 24/7 security operations environment
- Excellent written communication skills for incident documentation
