Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk/QRadar) for security incidents and anomalous activity
- Conduct threat hunting using MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat intelligence feeds
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches and cyber attacks
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical infrastructure
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts using Python or PowerShell
- Generate comprehensive security reports for executive stakeholders
- Collaborate with network and cloud teams to implement security controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on SOC experience with SIEM platforms
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification preferred
- Proficiency in threat detection tools (IDS/IPS, EDR, SOAR)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network protocols
- Strong knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, and compliance frameworks
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
