Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for real-time threat detection and investigation
- Conduct forensic analysis of security incidents and coordinate breach response protocols
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts using Python and PowerShell
- Collaborate with network teams to implement zero-trust architecture controls
- Generate executive-level threat intelligence reports and compliance documentation
- Lead vulnerability management scans and patch prioritization initiatives
- Train junior analysts on MITRE ATT&CK framework methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years in SOC operations or incident response roles
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S)
- Experience with EDR tools (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne)
- Knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerization
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts during major incidents
