Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using Splunk and AlienVault SIEM platforms
- Conduct proactive threat hunting and incident response for APT campaigns
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts using Python and PowerShell
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement security in CI/CD pipelines
- Document security procedures and prepare executive-level incident reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in SOC operations or threat analysis
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) and encryption standards
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and container technologies
- Strong analytical skills with ability to correlate complex security events
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
