Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate security incidents using MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop incident response playbooks and security documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security architecture
- Stay current on emerging threats and zero-day vulnerabilities
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years cybersecurity experience in SOC or incident response
- Certifications: CISSP, Security+, or CEH required
- Expertise in network security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF)
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and common protocols
- Experience with threat hunting and malware analysis
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Flexible availability for on-call rotations (1 week/month)
