Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems to detect and respond to cyber threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including incident response plans
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Investigate security incidents, perform forensic analysis, and implement remediation
- Stay current on emerging threats and industry regulations (e.g., NIST, GDPR)
- Provide security awareness training to employees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification (or equivalent)
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols and firewalls
- Experience with incident response frameworks (e.g., NIST SP 800-61)
- Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevSecOps practices
