Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk/QRadar) to detect and analyze security incidents
- Conduct forensic investigations of security breaches and cyber attacks
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Generate comprehensive incident response reports and mitigation plans
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Collaborate with IT teams to enhance security posture
- Stay current with emerging threats and security best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification preferred
- Proficiency with SIEM tools and network security protocols
- Strong knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks
- Experience with Windows/Linux system administration
