Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, including malware outbreaks and intrusions
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and implement security policies and incident response procedures
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST and ISO frameworks
- Provide security awareness training to employees
- Generate comprehensive security reports for leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations
- Strong knowledge of threat detection and incident response
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, Security+, CEH)
- Proficiency with security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure during security incidents
