Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security threats using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate security incidents and coordinate incident response protocols
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Develop and implement security controls to protect organizational assets
- Generate comprehensive security reports for executive stakeholders
- Collaborate with IT teams to maintain compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Stay current on emerging cyber threats and defense techniques
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewall, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux environments and cloud platforms
- Experience with incident response procedures and forensic tools
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
