Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents within agreed SLAs
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and maintain security documentation and policies
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls
- Stay current with emerging threats and mitigation strategies
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation (flexible scheduling)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years experience in security operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification preferred
- Proficiency with network security tools (Wireshark, Nmap)
- Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks (NIST, HIPAA)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) environments
- Ability to work independently with flexible hours
