Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and document security incidents with detailed forensic analysis
- Implement vulnerability management scans and remediation plans
- Develop and maintain security policies for compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Conduct penetration testing and security assessments for client systems
- Collaborate with IT teams to harden network defenses
- Generate executive security dashboards and monthly threat reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+ and CISSP or CISM certification preferred
- Proficiency in threat detection tools (CrowdStrike, Darktrace)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking and firewalls
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel 10% of time
