Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms and respond to security incidents with SLA-driven triage
- Conduct vulnerability assessments using Nessus and Qualys across hybrid environments
- Develop playbooks for incident response and forensic investigation
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement NIST 800-53 controls
- Generate executive-level threat intelligence reports quarterly
- Lead penetration testing initiatives for web applications and cloud infrastructure
- Manage security awareness training programs for 500+ employees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in SOC operations or threat detection roles
- Active CISSP or CompTIA Security+ certification (required)
- Proficiency in Python/SQL for security automation
- Experience with Palo Alto Networks and CrowdStrike solutions
- Knowledge of GDPR/CCPA compliance frameworks
- Valid California driver's license for occasional on-site requirements
