Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct threat hunting and incident response for malware, ransomware, and APTs
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and maintain security documentation (policies, playbooks, reports)
- Collaborate with IT teams on security architecture improvements
- Manage firewall, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions
- Lead security awareness training for staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience in SOC operations
- Industry certifications: CISSP, Security+, or CompTIA CySA+
- Proficiency in threat intelligence platforms (e.g., Recorded Future, MISP)
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
