Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and prioritize incident response
- Conduct forensic investigations of security breaches and cyber attacks
- Develop and implement security controls to prevent future incidents
- Collaborate with IT teams to maintain secure network configurations
- Generate comprehensive incident reports and security documentation
- Stay current with emerging threats and threat intelligence
- Participate in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or threat detection
- Industry certifications (CISSP, Security+, CEH) preferred
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms and IDS/IPS technologies
- Strong understanding of network protocols and system architecture
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST CSF)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts for 24/7 coverage
