Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and SOC platforms.
- Conduct thorough analysis of system logs and network traffic to identify potential vulnerabilities.
- Execute incident response procedures, including containment, eradication, and recovery.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing support for internal systems.
- Manage patch management processes and ensure software compliance.
- Document security incidents, findings, and remediation actions in the SIEM and ticketing systems.
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Familiarity with Linux/Windows administration and scripting (Python/Bash) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
