Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, coordinating with cross-functional teams
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Develop and maintain security documentation, playbooks, and runbooks
- Implement security controls and remediation strategies for network endpoints
- Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance security architecture
- Stay current with threat intelligence and emerging attack vectors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years experience in security operations or threat detection
- Industry certifications: CISSP, CEH, or Security+ required
- Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and endpoint protection
