Responsibilities
- Monitor 24/7 security operations center (SOC) alerts using Splunk and SIEM platforms
- Conduct forensic investigations on security incidents using FTK and EnCase
- Develop and implement vulnerability management strategies across hybrid cloud environments
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Generate executive-level threat intelligence briefings for CISOs
- Lead phishing simulation campaigns and security awareness training
- Manage compliance frameworks including NIST, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience in SOC operations or incident response
- Active CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or GIAC certification required
- Expertise in threat detection using Palo Alto NGFW and CrowdStrike
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Strong analytical skills with ability to prioritize complex threats
- Valid US government security clearance preferred
