Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across network infrastructures
- Develop and implement security controls to mitigate identified risks
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA standards
- Generate comprehensive security reports and executive dashboards
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches
- Research emerging threats and recommend proactive defense strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux systems and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST SP 800-61)
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to prioritize critical threats
