Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk/Sentinel) for real-time threat detection and incident response
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Forensically analyze security incidents and coordinate remediation efforts
- Develop and maintain security documentation including playbooks and policies
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and compliance frameworks
- Stay current on emerging threats through threat intelligence research
- Present security posture reports to C-level stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in SOC operations or cybersecurity analysis
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Security+
- Expertise in network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Experience with EDR/XDR solutions and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to correlate complex data
- Excellent written/verbal communication and problem-solving abilities
