Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network systems
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including incident response plans
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Analyze security logs and trends to identify potential threats
- Lead incident response investigations and provide post-mortem reports
- Stay current with emerging threats and security technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification preferred
- Proficiency in network security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication abilities for cross-functional collaboration
