Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Implement and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions
- Develop incident response playbooks and disaster recovery procedures
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with IT teams to harden systems against emerging threats
- Generate executive-level security reports and metrics dashboards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with SIEM implementation
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in network security tools (Wireshark, Nmap, Burp Suite)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and container technologies
- Strong knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a rotating on-call schedule
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
