Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems to detect and respond to cyber threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on networks and applications
- Develop and implement incident response plans for security breaches
- Collaborate with IT teams to maintain security controls and compliance standards
- Analyze malware and advanced persistent threats using forensic tools
- Create security awareness training programs for employees
- Generate detailed security reports for executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- Certification in CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet)
- Strong understanding of NIST frameworks and compliance regulations
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (CrowdStrike, Recorded Future)
- Excellent written communication skills for documentation and reporting
