Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across network infrastructure
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA standards
- Perform forensic analysis of security breaches and recommend remediation actions
- Manage security tools including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection platforms
- Generate comprehensive security reports for executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with hands-on incident response
- CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification required
- Expertise in threat detection, vulnerability management, and log analysis
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, Windows/Linux systems, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with SIEM implementation and correlation rules tuning
- Ability to work under pressure during critical security incidents
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- BS in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred
