Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems using SIEM tools to detect and respond to cyber incidents
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across networks
- Develop and implement incident response plans for security breaches
- Analyze malware and forensic evidence to attack patterns
- Collaborate with IT teams to enforce security policies and best practices
- Generate comprehensive security reports for executive stakeholders
- Stay current with emerging threats and defensive technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or SOC environments
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and firewalls
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST CSF)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts
