Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events within the SIEM environment in real-time.
- Conduct daily vulnerability assessments and support penetration testing activities.
- Investigate and remediate security incidents, anomalies, and potential breaches.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal security policies and external regulations (GDPR, HIPAA).
- Collaborate with IT operations and development teams to patch vulnerabilities and secure network architecture.
- Document security incidents, procedures, and system configurations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network administration, or IT security.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and network protocols.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
