Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms for security incidents and initiate rapid response protocols
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network systems
- Develop and implement security policies aligned with NIST and ISO 27001 standards
- Collaborate with IT teams to remediate security gaps and optimize defenses
- Generate comprehensive incident reports and executive security dashboards
- Stay current on emerging threats and threat intelligence for Pacific region
- Lead security awareness training for employees across the organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations
- Certification in Security+, CISSP, or CEH preferred
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security protocols
- Strong knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks and MITRE ATT&CK
- Experience with incident response and forensic investigation
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate complex threats clearly
