Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct threat hunting investigations and incident response coordination
- Develop and maintain security documentation including playbooks and reports
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in security operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in security tools: IDS/IPS, firewalls, endpoint protection platforms
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and attack vectors
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
