Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct threat hunting and incident response for APTs and zero-day exploits
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts using Python/PowerShell
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Generate comprehensive security reports for executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in SOC operations or threat analysis
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification required
- Expertise in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) and SIEM tools
- Strong understanding of MITRE ATT&CK framework and NIST standards
