Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to security incidents with rapid containment protocols
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network systems
- Develop comprehensive security incident response plans and playbooks
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement zero-trust architecture
- Generate executive-level security dashboards and compliance reports
- Stay ahead of emerging threats through continuous threat intelligence analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience in SOC operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification (required)
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, GDPR)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized environments
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
