Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across network infrastructure
- Develop and maintain security documentation (playbooks, policies, procedures)
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement robust security controls
- Analyze threat intelligence and provide actionable mitigation recommendations
- Manage compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) for financial services clients
- Lead incident response drills and post-mortem analysis
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- Certified CISSP, CISM, or Security+ required
- Expertise in SIEM correlation rules and threat hunting
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network protocols
- Knowledge of financial services regulatory requirements
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure incident scenarios
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
