Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk/Symantec)
- Conduct forensic investigations of security incidents and breaches
- Implement and maintain security controls across cloud/on-premise environments
- Develop threat intelligence reports and mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch vulnerabilities and reduce attack surfaces
- Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments
- Document security procedures and compliance reports (NIST, ISO 27001)
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Expertise in SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking and Windows/Linux systems
- Experience with threat hunting frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK)
- Ability to work rotating shifts in 24/7 environment
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
- Bachelor's degree in IT/Cybersecurity or equivalent experience
