Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct forensic investigations of security incidents and breaches
- Develop and implement security controls to prevent cyber attacks
- Collaborate with IT teams on vulnerability management and patching
- Generate comprehensive incident response reports and executive summaries
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry best practices
- Participate in penetration testing and security assessments
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- CISSP, Security+, or CompTIA CySA+ certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools and network security protocols
- Strong understanding of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Valid US driver's license for occasional client site visits
