Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with detailed documentation
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop incident response playbooks and disaster recovery plans
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls
- Generate executive-level security reports and compliance metrics
- Stay current on emerging threats and MITRE ATT&CK framework
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years experience in SOC operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+/CISSP/CISA certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and network protocols
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Experience with threat hunting and malware analysis
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts in 24/7 environment
