Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms and detect security anomalies across 24/7 operations
- Lead incident response investigations and mitigation procedures for cyber threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Develop and maintain security documentation (playbooks, policies, procedures)
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and hardening measures
- Analyze threat intelligence and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Ensure compliance with NIST, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS frameworks
- Participate in security awareness training programs for staff
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CISSP, CEH, or GIAC certification required (GSEC preferred)
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and IDS/IPS systems
- Proficiency in network security protocols (Firewall, VPN, IDS)
- Hands-on experience with threat hunting and malware analysis
