We're seeking a passionate Cybersecurity Analyst to monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents in a fast-paced SOC environment. Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM tools (Splunk/QRadar) for anomalous activity and investigate security alerts
- Perform incident response including containment, eradication, and recovery activities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network assets
- Develop and maintain security documentation (playbooks, runbooks, policies)
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Stay current on emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in a SOC environment
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required (CEH preferred)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, network protocols, and Windows/Linux systems
- Strong knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF)
- Experience with incident response procedures and forensic tools
