Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk/QRadar) for real-time threat detection and incident response
- Conduct forensic investigations of security breaches and malware incidents
- Develop and implement vulnerability management protocols across hybrid environments
- Collaborate with network teams to enforce zero-trust architectures
- Generate executive-level security reports and compliance documentation
- Lead penetration testing engagements and security awareness training
- Manage threat intelligence feeds and threat-hunting campaigns
- Coordinate incident response plans with cross-functional stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience in SOC operations or incident response
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification (CompTIA Security+ required)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, packet analysis (Wireshark), and EDR solutions
- Strong understanding of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network segmentation
- Exceptional analytical skills and ability to prioritize critical threats
- Valid Tennessee driver's license for occasional client site visits
